The Thrive Renewables Community Benefit Programme awards grants for local communities to take action to address the climate emergency, through projects which have a positive environmental and social impact.

It’s funded by Thrive Renewables and administered by the Centre for Sustainable Energy (CSE).

Grants of up to £4,500 are available for community groups and organisations located near to selected Thrive Renewables sites. Activity must be taking place within a 15-mile radius (for rural locations), or a 5-mile radius (for urban locations) of a Thrive Renewables installation shown on the map below.

The deadline to apply is 12pm (midday) on Thursday 26 November.

How to apply

To be eligible for the fund, activities should be taking place within an specified distance of the site of one of Thrives Renewables’ developments – 15 miles in rural locations and 5 miles in urban locations.
