North Somerset Council commissioned CSE to carry out community engagement with three areas in North Somerset aimed at understanding the type, scale and location of future renewable energy development which could be acceptable to local people.

The three areas were: Congresbury and Puxton, Nailsea and Tickenham, and Yatton and Kenn, chosen based on their high potential for renewable energy generation.

This report is a summary of the workshop and consultation findings for each area, along with CSE’s policy recommendations.
