Bath & North-East Somerset council commissioned CSE to carry out community engagement in three areas that aimed to start a conversation about renewable energy with local people.

The engagement was not in connection with a particular planning proposal or the council’s planning policies. It was a hypothetical and exploratory project which aimed to understand the type, scale and location of renewable energy development which might be acceptable in the future.
