Awards

“And the winner is …”

We’re always proud when a project, person or initiative that we’re involved with wins an award. Here are a few that CSE has picked up in recent years:

2026

We picked up awards in two categories in the Utility Week Flex Awards.

First to the podium was Chloe McLaren Webb, CSE’s Fair Transition Research Lead, who won the Flexibility Rising Star Award and said: “Very proud to be recognised for all our work on making energy flexibility work for everyone. Consumer-led flexibility is an unprecedented change in the way we use energy. We need to take this opportunity to reduce energy inequality and bring everyone with us on the transition to clean power”. Chloe was followed by Charlotte Johnson, CSE’s Director of Research and Analysis who picked up the Equity and Inclusion in Flex category award for our Energy Choices Tool that gives every household a personalised route into the smart energy transition regardless of their income, confidence or technical knowledge.
