Join our Surviving Winter Advice Providers Forum this July

24 June 2022

Join experts from the Centre for Sustainable Energy (CSE) along with Citizens Advice and National Energy Action to discuss how services can adapt to support people with limited options to make further energy savings.

Our Surviving Winter Advice Providers Forum takes place on Wednesday 20 July on Zoom. Register here.

Spiralling energy bills, soaring inflation rates and the wider cost of living crisis mean it’s going to be an incredibly tough winter for millions of people across the UK.

Every day, our advice line hears from people in crisis, worried about their bills with their mental and physical health suffering as a result. This coming winter, we know all advice providers like us will be facing a surge in demand for support services.

This free event will focus on preparing advice services for the winter ahead, the opportunities and challenges of the latest government support measures and an Energy Redress voucher update.

Join our Surviving Winter Advice Providers Forum to hear the latest policy context, discuss how advice providers can cope with demand this winter and how we can all best support people to stay warm and afford to heat their homes as we continue to navigate this changing wider context.

Full programme and speakers will be announced soon. A link to the meeting will be sent to registered attendees via email.

There will be opportunity for you to contribute in advance and during the session. We’ll ensure plenty of time for Q&As. If you have any questions you’d like covered during the event, please send them to us at communications@cse.org.uk.
