New vacancies: Software Engineer, Senior Project Manager & Senior Project Worker

Our Research & Analysis team is expanding from ten to thirteen people which means we have three new posts to fill.

We’re looking for a Software Engineer, Senior Project Manager and Senior Project Worker to join our friendly and supportive team in Central Bristol.

Software Engineer

We're seeking an experienced Software Engineer to implement the management and delivery of software design, planning, development, testing and support. See the job description for more details.

A degree or equivalent in computer science, software engineering, mathematics, physics, or similar is essential, as is five years’ experience of developing software using Python collaboratively in a professional environment.

The postholder will also contribute to CSE's proposals and bids for new work, and will support colleagues with tasks such as data management, analysis and modelling.

The salary for the post starts at £35,905 (37.5 hours per week).

Senior Project Manager

We’re looking to appoint a Senior Project Manager with a strong track record in the management of relevant complex or large scale research or technical projects.

The purpose of this role is to manage effectively CSE staff, resources and external clients in delivering large or complex projects or a range of small scale projects. See the job description for more details.

The successful candidate will also have a broad understanding of sustainable energy technologies and the ability to develop fruitful relationships and projects in partnership with other organizations.

The salary for the post starts at 34,759 (37.5 hours per week).

Senior Project Worker

Among the new recruits, we're looking for a Senior Project Worker to contribute technical knowledge, research skills and project support to the delivery of our projects.See the job description for more details.

We're looking for two years’ experience working in similar role and excellent written and verbal communication, along with proven numerical and data analysis skills.

The post offers plenty of scope for professional development, and you'll be joining a friendly and supportive team based in central Bristol.

The salary for the post starts at £23,077 (37.5 hours per week).
