Bridgend Energy Challenge is searching for a local energy group

We're looking for people in rural areas of Bridgend County to come forward with an idea for a local energy project. Through the Bridgend County Energy Challenge we will support this group to get their project off the ground providing expert mentoring and practical assistance.

We’ll be inviting groups to come forward with their own ideas for a local energy project and apply to the support programme. The successful group will receive assistance from CSE over the next two years to get the project up and running but what form the project takes and how it’s organised will be up to the group itself.

We'll provide help with:

  • Outlining your ideas
  • Technical advice
  • Getting others on board
  • Organising a group
  • Looking for funding
  • Project management
  • Publicising your project
  • Engaging your community

To apply head over to the project's website

The deadline for all applications is 5pm Tuesday 3 April 2018. If you've got any questions please contact Ellie Stevens on 0117 934 1423.
