More cash for low-carbon community building fund
Fund top-up is good news for community facilities
27 March 2017
The successful Thrive Renewables Community Benefit Programme, which funds low carbon improvements to community buildings - such as low energy lighting, insulation, new windows or doors, has been topped up.
"This is great news for community facilities who need energy efficient refurbishments," said CSE's Dan Stone. "But the fund has been popular, so we'd advise anyone interested to apply as soon as possible."
Find out more, and download the paperwork here.
CSE administers this fund on behalf of Thrive Renewables (formerly Triodos Renewables), helping community buildings install LED lighting, insulation, draught-proofing, improved heating controls etc.
Funding is available for renewable energy installations in cases where all reasonable energy efficiency improvements to the building have already been made.
The fund is open to community buildings in the immediate vicinity of Thrive Renewables wind turbines and hydroelectric installations. A map of where these are is on this page.
