A warm welcome on board the good ship CSE

Seven people join up to help us carry out our mission

4 July 2012

In this age of rising levels of fuel poverty and increasing atmospheric concentrations of carbon dioxide, CSE's mission is more vital than ever. And as our services are increasingly in demand, we've been recruiting new, quality members of staff to respond – and to cover two colleagues about to head off on maternity leave.

So a warm welcome to Tam, Jess, James, Richard and Tom who have joined CSE in the past few weeks, as well as to Nick and Kate who step aboard later this month.

James Ryle has joined us, having previously worked with sustainable transport charity Sustrans, to stand in as the Head of Local & Community Empowerment while Rachel Coxcoon takes time out to have twins.

Also joining us to provide maternity cover is Kate Thomas who will take the Senior Project Manager hot-seat in the Household Energy Services team when Verity Saunders takes time out to have her third child next month.

Richard Tiffin and Tom Hinton bring their computing expertise to our expanding Research & Analysis team as software developers and will be ... er ...developing software for a number of research projects including the National Housing Model for DECC (of which more in due course).

Finally we're pleased to have three paid interns joining us for six months; Tam Bardell, Jess Putt and, joining us later this month, Nick Chapman. And, yes, we do pay our interns.
