Final call to sign up for the Green Deal event

Find out what the Green Deal could mean for you

4 October 2011

With details now finalised, people have less than two weeks to confirm their place at CSE’s Green Deal event at the Watershed, Bristol.

The event, ‘Green Deal: what it means for you’, is a free all-day event offering housing association and local authority staff, community group members and local councillors, the opportunity to find out more about the Government’s forthcoming Green Deal initiative.

The day will include a series of presentations, including from David Purdy at the Department of Energy and Climate Change, and Steven Millward at Scottish and Southern Energy.

There will also be case studies examining recent projects, such as CSE’s Freedom from Fuel Poverty and Somerset West Hard-to-Treat initiatives, to give an indication of how any future Green Deal schemes could work.

The event takes place on Thursday 13 October at the Watershed in Bristol, and CSE is co-hosting the event with the Severn Wye Energy Agency (SWEA).
