Funding opportunities ...

28 January 2019

A couple of funding opportunities have come to our attention.

The first is from the Trusthouse Charitable Foundation who are offering grant funding for projects improving community centres and village halls in deprived urban and rural areas. They are interested in projects bringing back disused buildings into full community use, in new buildings and renovating and improving old ones.

The other is the Pebble Trust which supports projects in the Scottish Highlands and Islands and which is now offering funding of up to £5,000 for projects that contribute to reducing our dependency on fossil fuels and other limited resources. Eligible projects will be expected to benefit the public through creating a sustainable future, raising awareness and disseminating results of funded projects.

Projects that the Pebble Trust have supported in the past include a heat network on the island of Iona and a renewable energy project in a castle in Fort William.
