Please read these Prize Draw terms and conditions (the “Terms”) carefully. By entering the Demand Flexibility Service (DFS) Customer Feedback Survey Prize Draw (the “prize draw”) you are agreeing to these terms and conditions.
The promoter of the prize draw is the Centre for Sustainable Energy (“CSE“, “We”), which has its registered offices at St James Court, St James Parade, Bristol BS1 3LH. CSE is a registered charity (no 298740) and registered company (no 2219673) and registered company (no 2219673).
“You” or “the participant” is the person who is entering into the prize draw.
About the prize draw
The prize draw is free to enter for anyone who has provided a complete and valid response to the Demand Flexibility Service Evaluation Survey.
The prize draw opens on Wednesday 4 December 2024 and will close at 12pm (midnight) on Friday 20 December (the “prize draw period”).
You have the option to opt out of the prize draw at the end of the Demand Flexibility Service Evaluation Survey.
CSE reserves the right to extend or foreshorten the prize draw period without notice, at the sole discretion of CSE and without prior notification.
Only qualifying entries received on or before the close of the prize draw period will be accepted, without exception.
Entry requirements
To participate in this prize draw individuals must be invited to and submit a complete and valid entry in the Demand Flexibility Service Evaluation Survey. A ‘complete and valid entry’ means you have completed the survey using the link sent to you by your DFS provider, you have completed all mandatory questions, and submitted your response.
This prize draw is not open to:
- Employees of CSE.
- Anyone professionally connected with this prize draw.
There is no entry fee and no purchase necessary to enter this prize draw.
The Demand Flexibility Service Evaluation Survey requires a participant to answer a series of questions by expressing their own opinions to each question.
Participants can only enter the prize draw once.
The participant’s entry must not violate any law or the copyright, trademark, publicity right, privacy right or any other right of any third party.
CSE accepts no responsibility for entries that are lost, delayed, misdirected or incomplete or cannot be delivered or entered for any technical or other reason.
The prizes
The prizes will be digital shopping vouchers.
There will be eight prizes available as follows: 1 x £500, 3 x £100 and 4 x £50.
The prizes will be distributed within 30 days of the prize draw period ending.
The prizes are non-exchangeable, non-transferable and no cash alternative is offered.
The winners
The eight winners will be chosen from a random draw of eligible entries in accordance with these terms.
The draw will be performed by CSE using a random computer process using the unique ID assigned to your survey response.
The winners will be notified by CSE via email.
The winner decisions are final, and no correspondence will be entered into.
Your data
Participants email addresses will be stored by CSE until the winners are notified within 30 days of the prize draw period ending, and for one month following this date.
CSE will only use the data in accordance with all applicable laws and regulations. Your personal data will be processed in line with the Data Protection Act 2018 on the lawful basis of consent. CSE will ensure protection of all personal information held and recognises its obligations in maintaining a system that meets the requirements of GDPR.
General
CSE reserves the right to amend or alter these Terms at any time. We also reserve the right to amend or withdraw this prize draw at any time.
By entering this Prize draw, Participants acknowledge that they have read, understood, accept, and agree to be bound by these terms and conditions, and by the decision of CSE in relation to all matters relating to the prize draw, whose decision shall be final (no correspondence will be entered into).
CSE reserves the right to refuse to award the prize to anyone in breach of these terms and conditions.
CSE accepts no responsibility for any damage, loss, injury, or disappointment suffered by any participant entering the prize draw, or as a result of accepting the prize.
This prize draw, and these terms and conditions, will be governed by English law, and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England.
