Fuel Poverty Advisor

Salary: £22,427-£25,385
Closing date: 12.00 (noon) on Friday 14 August 2020

We're seeking a dedicated and conscientious individual with experience of giving advice to people in vulnerable circumstances and who can relate to others in a sympathetic and understanding way.

The post-holder will support our work in the Bath & Northeast Somerset council area aimed at improving the health and financial sustainability of vulnerable households living in cold homes.

We anticipate some of the post-holder's time will be based at the Royal United Hospital in Bath to help ensure that discharged patients leaving hospital return to a warm and comfortable home.

We aim to support everyone who approaches us for advice although in some cases we are only able to offer telephone advice via our Bristol based advice line.

We particularly welcome applications from the BAME, LGBT and disabled communities, as they are under-represented at CSE. Appointment will always, however, be made on merit and judged against the job description and person specification.
