Community Energy Practitioners' Forum

CSE is a founder member of the Community Energy Practitioners’ Forum. This is a new coalition bringing together some of the leading NGOs working to empower and support action on energy and climate change in communities across Great Britain, in order to:

  • Share knowledge, experience and resources to raise standards of practice, develop a robust evidence base, and improve efficiency by reducing duplication and accelerating dissemination of learning
  • Establish a coherent and effective common voice to help inform and shape policies and programmes
  • Develop and realise opportunities to collaborate to deliver high quality projects and services that empower and support community action on energy across the UK

Other founder members of the forum include: Centre for Alternative Technology; Changeworks; Community Energy Plus; Energy AgencyGroundwork UK; Marches Energy Agency; National Energy Action; National Energy Foundation; Severn Wye Energy Agency; Eco Centre Wales; Peter Capener (in an individual capacity).

CSE acts as the accountable body for the funding of the Community Energy Practitioners' Forum and CSE’s Chief Executive currently chairs the Forum.
