The Distributional Impacts of UK Climate Change Policies

“You just have to get by” - Coping with low incomes and cold homes

A study of the 'coping-strategies' of low‐income households facing fuel poverty and the details of the daily reality of living on a low income in a British winter. Funded by eaga Charitable Trust, the study included a face-to‐face survey of 700 low‐income households and 50 in‐depth telephone interviews.

Our Big Energy Challenge: a review

February 2010  |  Short, illustrated report detailing the impact, legacy and the lessons learned from the delivery of one of CSE’s most ambitious projects to date. Our Big Energy Challenge was a £750,000 initiative, funded by HM Treasury’s Invest to Save Budget, that aimed to cut the carbon emissions of various public-sector organisations in Bath by 10%. Did we succeed?
