CSE's Annual Review looks back at the successes of 2006-07
3 December 2007
Our latest Annual Review, detailing our work and successes during 2006-07 is now available.
You can download a copy here: www.cse.org.uk/pdf/pub1088.pdf
As the Review shows, CSE is making a real impact, particularly through our direct initiatives which engage households and organisations to take practical steps to cut carbon emissions and end the misery of cold homes.
The review showcases four of our most influential projects in the year:
- Our Big Energy Challenge: changing the energy culture of a city (page 5);
- Personal carbon allowances: making a mark on national policy debates (page 6)
- The Local and Regional Carbon Management Matrix: providing the tools for local councils to take action on cliate change (page 9); and
- Bioheat: changing the energy profile of a region (page 10)
And for the first time we are measuring our impact, calculating our progress against four specific targets that underpin all our work: cutting carbon emissions, alleviating fuel poverty, supporting others to take action, and securing specific policy changes. The details are reported on the inside back cover.
