CSE Gains Approved Training Centre Status
We are now approved to offer the BTEC Advanced Award in Providing Energy Advice.
28 November 2002
CSE has worked with the Energy Saving Trust to gain Approved Centre Status to offer Edexcel qualifications.
We are now approved to offer the BTEC Advanced Award in Providing Energy Advice. The programme is designed primarily for Energy Efficiency Advice Centre staff who have either passed the NEA/City and Guilds 6176 in energy awareness or achieved the NVQ in energy efficiency services at level 2, or have at least two years' relevant experience.
It will equip staff with the additional skills they need to effectively deliver energy efficiency advice, including three core units on Energy Advice Away from the Client's Home, Advice Line Skills and Time Management, and four optional units on Energy Advice in the Client's Home, Media Interviews, Delivering Presentations and Delivering Training.
It is hoped that the full programme will be available from next April.
