CSE has been providing sustainable energy training and support for 25 years. We have recently developed a series of short, interactive training courses for a wide range of audiences, including community groups, local authority staff, energy professionals, energy company staff, businesses, advice-providers and interested individuals.

Renewable Energy Essentials

A two-day course in household and community-scale renewable energy systems, introducing and explaining standard renewable energy systems such as solar water heating, biomass heating, ground source heat pumps, solar photovoltaics and small-scale wind. The course also includes sessions on small-scale hydro and combined heat and power.

Energy Awareness Plus

This is a half-day course for established energy advisers who need to take a fresh look at what they know.

The Expert Energy Adviser

During this one-day course you will develop your advice line skills. It can be taken as a stand-alone session or to help you prepare for the BTEC Advanced Award in Providing Energy Advice.

The Home Energy Adviser

This course is run over 1½ days and is designed specifically for advisers who carry out home visits. Like the Expert Energy Adviser, it can be taken as a stand-alone session or to help you prepare for the BTEC Advanced Award in Providing Energy Advice.
